Unpublish MiVideo Media or Change Publishing Status

Issue

Change the publishing status and/or unpublish media in MyMedia to no longer be publicly accessible to viewers 

Resolution

Notes:

• You must be the Media Owner or Co-publisher to unpublish media. Co-editors and Co-viewers are not able to unpublish media. See the Collaboration and Roles article.
• Media can also be removed directly from channels. See the Remove Media from a Channel article.

1. Navigate to My Media:
   • Canvas: Account > My Media.  
   • MiVideo Mediaspace: user drop-down menu > My Media.
2. From My Media, select an individual media item by clicking on the thumbnail or title.
3. Select Actions > Publish
4. Change the Publishing Status or uncheck any Categories/Galleries or Channels to remove the media item. See the Publish Media article for more information about Publishing Statuses.
5. Click Save
