What Does It Do?
The OUD-DS3 best practice is for each constituent to only have one UMID alternate lookup ID.
This integrity check identifies duplicate UMIDs on a constituent's record so that the duplicate record can be deleted.
How Is This Done?
This integrity check is run using a SQL Server view called [INTEGRITY_CHECKS].[dbo].[IDS.V-INTEGRITY CHECK-CONSTITUENT-Deduplicate UMIDs(DW)], which is located in DB-OUD > Databases > INTEGRITY_CHECKS > Views.
That view queries UMIDs that are duplicated on a constituent’s record so that the duplicated record(s) can be deleted, leaving the constituent with only one copy of that alternate lookup ID.
