How can I access my U-M Google Drive files on the Linux CLSE?

If you are using the Linux CLSE and are not eligible for a CAEN Home Directory, the following steps are recommended to store and access files as you will otherwise not be able to save anything to the machine directly:

  1. From the Applications menu, select System Tools > Settings.
  2. Click Online Accounts.
  3. Click Add An Account (or the + button if you already have an account added).
  4. Select Google.
  5. Enter your U-M Google account credentials.

Under the Files app, you should now see uniqname@umich.edu with the ability to access your U-M Google Drive files:
