The Home Page widget, also called the Bottom Row widget, is a widget specifically for the home page, and will be seen at the bottom of the page. It has all of the same functionality as the Left Sidebar widgets, but appears at the bottom of the Homepage compared to the left side on other site pages.
To add a Home Page widget, navigate to Appearance >> Widgets:
Click on the drop down arrow on the Bottom Row tab and click the + button to add a widget block of your choice:
