What is the difference between how Students and Faculty/Staff access their CAEN Home Directory?

Depending on an individual's role at the College, how they access their CAEN Home Directory may differ. For example:

• Students and course instructors will receive a default home directory available on the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE), which will automatically have certain folders redirected for future accessibility on CAEN lab computers. • Faculty and staff receive a directory for use on Engineering Base Desktop (EBD) computers that is automatically mounted to a network drive by default. These home directories provide a 500 GB quota for storage. Instructions for accessing are available at: How do I access my faculty/staff CAEN Home Directory?

Note: Due to the need for course instructors to have the same experience when teaching in CAEN computer labs, individuals in these roles will receive both types of home directories described above.
