MAC - Font Installation Issue

Issue

When trying to download and install fonts on the Mac it produces an error saying "Could not install font. This may occur because of efforts to install fonts in files containing no valid fonts. Check your selection and try again."

Environment

Mac OS Ventura, Izzy Build

Resolution

  1. Open the Font Book App
  2. Click Font Book in the top menu bar then on Settings
  3. Click Installation tab
  4. Change from "Current User" to "All Users" 
  5. Test the font install, an Admin password will need to be entered
