The PoE (Power over Ethernet) injector sends electrical current through Ethernet cables used for data transmission. Compact enough to fit within even the most crowded podiums and credenzas, it conveys lecture recording signal from the camera to the Mac Mini computer. Any connection with the name of a certain American author is entirely coincidental.
