Persona identity verification process using mobile devices, tablets, or computers.
Issue
I am having difficulty capturing a clear and readable image of my ID or selfie during the Persona verification process.
Resolution
- Use a mobile phone or the back camera of a tablet for best results. While a computer webcam can be used, capturing a clear image may be more challenging.
- Avoid backlighting from windows or bright light sources to prevent glare which can make the image unreadable.
- If the image appears blurry, slowly move closer to the camera until the image is in focus.
- For ID images, placing the ID on a flat surface with a contrasting background can make it easier to capture a good image.
- Ensure the ID or selfie is fully visible and contained within the camera frame.
- Have your driver's license or passport ready before starting the verification process.
- Complete the verification promptly as the link provided is active for only 48 hours from issuance.
