Issue

Can't log in to Atlassian products like Trello, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or others.

Resolution

U-M Information and Technology Services has been working with Atlassian to make signing on to their products easier and safer using U-M Weblogin. Atlassian offers a number of popular software titles such as Trello, Jira, Confluence, and more

  • The sign-on experience using a U-M address uses the familiar University of Michigan Weblogin service.
  • If you are using a paid version of these products, you will retain the responsibility to pay as you have been.
  • ITS does not to have access to any data or content stored with Atlassian.
  • If you do not wish to continue using your U-M email to manage your Atlassian account, you can switch to another email address by following these instructions to change your Atlassian account email addresses.
  • You may see a message when first logging in that "Your account is now managed."

  • U-M will not make changes to your account other than uniqnames being active/terminated where appropriate.
  • Personal accounts are not required to be transferred to a different account, but it would be advisable.
