Change Friend Account Password (Starting Feb. 25, 2026)

Issue

How to change a Friend account password starting February 25, 2026.

Resolution

You must be able to access messages sent to the email address associated with your Friend account in order to reset the password. Otherwise, you must create a new Friend account.

  1. Navigate to the sign-in page for a service you previously accessed with your Friend account.
  2. Enter your Friend account Email Address and click Next.
  3. Click Password.

Note: Click Back to sign in if the Password option does not display.

  1. Click the Forgot password? link.
  2. Click Send me an email.
  3. Open the email message and click Reset Password.  

Note: Alternatively, copy the verification code in the email message. On the Okta Sign-in page, click Enter a verification code instead, paste it in the field provided, and click Verify.

  1. Enter a new password and re-enter the password in the fields provided.
  2. Click Reset Password.
