Different ways to showcase badges earned through Canvas.

Resolution

There are several ways to showcase your badges, these are a few suggestions.

Print Certificate

Add to Email Signature (Gmail)

1. Access your Gmail > Settings (gear icon) > General tab and scroll to the Signature section.
2. Edit an existing signature or create a new one.
3. Get the embed code for the badge, see Instructure article How do I share my earned badges from my Canvas Badges Backpack?
4. To display the badge image in your signature, copy the src link in the <img> tag, it will look like https://api.badgr.io/public/assertions/yl..../image
5. Click the Insert Image icon in the Gmail editor.
6. Paste the image link.
7. Resize the image as needed.
8. To link out to the badge, add some text, highlight the text, then click the Link icon in the Gmail editor.
9. Copy the href link from the <a> tag in the embed code, it will look like https://api.badgr.io/public/assertions/yl...
10. Paste the badge link.
11. Save your changes.
