How do I contact Qualtrics Support?


Note: For service, you must have a UMICH Login and password.

Included with UM's Qualtrics license agreement is free, 24/7 support and training directly from the survey experts at Qualtrics. The support options available include chat, phone, and email. 

  1. Log into the U-M Qualtrics instance:
  2. In the top right corner, click on the Question Mark/Help button (?)
  3. In the pop-up window select Contact Support
  4. On the next screen, click University of Michigan Wide to finish logging into the Qualtrics support portal
    • If you are asked to log in with a username and password, select Sign in with SSO and enter 'umich' when asked for the Organization ID.
  5. Select the product area you need help with. Most commonly, this will be Survey Platform & XM Directory.
    • You can hover your cursor over the name of a product area for more information about it.
  6. Further down the page, select the Chat, Phone, or Email option 
    • NOTE: The phone option will have someone from Qualtrics Support contact you with a provided ETA
