eRRM: What Courses Will Make Me PEERRS Certified for eResearch Regulatory Management?

Environment

eResearch Regulatory Management (eRRM)

Issue

Determining how to be certified by PEERRS for a research study

Resolution

Required courses for PEERRS certification depend on your institutional role, your research activity,  and the type of research you are doing. See PEERRS FAQs for a detailed breakdown.

Once the training courses are successfully completed, please allow 24-48 hours for the eResearch system to update your profile.

NOTE: If you have obtained a training waiver because of prior, equivalent training you've taken, this will appear on your training transcript in My LINC and the corresponding courses will not be required.

Resolve a Compliance Hold

If your eResearch study is currently on a compliance hold due to missing PEERRS training, check the compliance tab to see the list of courses the study team members have completed, and which are expired/incomplete.

Additional Information

If there are questions about the required courses, please contact the IRB directly using the contact information on this page: U-M IRB Contacts.

If you have completed the training elsewhere but do not have a training waiver, then request a certification waiver on PEERRS: Human Subjects Research Protections Course Details.
