U-M or non-U-M websites
Issue
I am receiving an error that says "Stale Request" when trying to access U-M or non-U-M websites.
Resolution
Try the following steps to resolve a 'Stale Request' error:
- Your request may have timed out, close the tab and navigate back to the same page again.
- If using a bookmark or shortcut, navigate directly to the resource instead:
- If the resource is accessible through Wolverine Access (WA), go directly to WA and navigate to the page you need.
- Type the URL of the website in the address bar of your web browser.
- Try going directly to the website's main page and navigating to the page you need from there (everything before the first slash in the URL).
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies, and then try again:
- Try a different network:
- Try accessing the site from a mobile hotspot or a Coffee shop WiFi network
- If you are connected to a VPN, try disconnecting from the VPN.
