Issue

I have a current affiliation with the University of Michigan, but I don't know my uniqname.

Resolution

Your uniqname is between 3 and 8 alphabetic characters, and it forms the first part of your UMICH email address. So, if your UMICH email is example@umich.edu, then your uniqname is “example.” 

If you are still unsure of your current uniqname: 

  1. Fill out the form titled: ITS-Passwords.
  2. After verifying your identity, we will notify you of your uniqname.
