Setting your Out of Office message when you will be away
PLEASE do not set your out of office message in Google (umich.edu) mail settings (vacation responder)!!!
Setting your out of office message in Google mail settings results in out of office messages being sent multiple times to many people. All owners of any email group you receive a message from will receive your out of office message each time a message is sent to that group during your absence.
Instead, please use the MCommunity Out of Office process by following the information in the ITS Knowledge Base Article linked below.
