How can I get an update on my IT ticket? (ITS, HITS, IA, etc.)
I submitted a technology-related ticket and haven't heard back. How can I get an update?

University of Michigan has several IT departments, and your ticket is handled through a different system and different teams depending on your department affiliation, campus, etc. The best way to check on the status of your ticket is to look for the ticket confirmation email that you received, click the "view ticket" link (or similar), and ask for an update. In many cases, you can also simply reply to the ticket confirmation email.
- To view your ITS (campus IT) tickets, login to TeamDynamix (using level-1 credentials - your @umich.edu address)
- To view your HITS (Michigan Medicine IT) tickets, login to ServiceNow (using level-2 credentials - your @med.umich.edu address)
- Information Assurance (IA / IAM) tickets could be either under ITS or HITS, so it is best to find your ticket confirmation email and click the link there
- To view your unit-specific IT tickets:,
- LSA Technology Services
- U-M Flint ITS
- U-M Dearborn ITS
- For other IT providers, refer to the U-M IT Providers List
