What are the most suitable wearables for measuring physical and emotional responses during sedentary periods and during exercise?

"What are the most suitable wearables for measuring physical and emotional responses during sedentary periods and while traveling using these modes: walking, cycling, and e-bicycling?"

During a mobile tech consultation, Dr. Cathy Goldstein pointed out that wrist-worn smartwatches are not the greatest at capturing HRV during activity, only at rest. In order to capture HRV during exercise and physical activity, researchers should consider heart rate straps.

I will find to find the link that Cathy shared about research on this area. :)
