Assignments Page Overview

There is probably a link for Assignments in the left-hand navigation bar (although some instructors choose to rename it - you may see something like "Challenges" or "Battles" instead of Assignments).  

Tip: We really recommend using the Grade Predictor together with the Assignments page so you can plan for the assignment path you want to take!

When you click the “Assignments” tab, you will be taken to a list of all the available assignments throughout the entire course.  Assignments are grouped into categories or types depending on how your instructor decides to organize your course.  Clicking on the blue arrow or category name will expand the category to show you all the assignments available.  

Some of your assignments might have a symbol next to them:

• Yellow flag: You predicted completion of that assignment using the Grade Predictor tool.
• Purple asterisk: The assignment is required.
• Lock: The assignment is locked. You should check what is needed to unlock it (such as another assignment, a badge, or a grade level.
• Key: Completion of the assignment will allow you to access another assignment, badge or grade level.  Hovering over the key lets you know what it unlocks.
