Resident students should refer to your most recent financial aid notice. Usually, the financial aid you receive in winter term at U-M will be applicable. Non-resident students should email the financial aid study abroad team for an estimate (finaid.abroad@umich.edu). If programs are significantly less than the cost for a semester at U-M, your aid could be reduced to reflect the less expensive program. The Office of Financial Aid cannot disburse aid early so students studying abroad in the winter semester will receive their aid at the same time as all other students even if they are traveling early.
