I received an email that I had financial aid disburse. Do I need to pick up my refund check?
No. The Office of Financial Aid strongly recommends that all students set up Direct Deposit. This is set up in Wolverine Access Student Business and is the quickest and safest way to receive refunds and payments from the University of Michigan.
If you do not set up direct deposit and are issued a refund, a paper check is mailed to your local/current address listed in Wolverine Access. It is important that you regularly review and update your address in Wolverine Access to ensure checks and other important university information is mailed accurately.
