Every year students are targeted by fraudulent emails regarding financial aid. If you are ever unsure of the veracity of a financial aid email, do NOT click on any links or provide information to the sender. Instead, Contact Us to verify the message.
Some things to check:
- Confirm that the email has actually been sent by a umich.edu email address and the "reply-to" goes to a umich.edu email address.
- Visit your Wolverine Access account to confirm if additional documentation is being requested by the Office of Financial Aid. We will always list document requests online in your student portal.
