Financial Aid Notice

What is the Financial Aid Notice?

Your financial aid notice is designed to help you understand the costs of attending the University of Michigan, the financial aid you are being offered to assist with those costs, and the estimated net price you can expect if utilizing financial aid. The notice, also called a financial aid offer or award notice, provides information specific to the academic period(s) included on the notification. You will be issued a new financial aid notice each academic year if you continue to apply for financial aid.

Financial aid notices are emailed to students and are available in Wolverine Access to link to. Notices come in three versions: Estimated, Official, and Revised. Your notice will be titled based on which version you are receiving.

Always read the aid notice information carefully and Contact Us if you have questions. It is important to remember that aid notices do not update in real time and the information included on the notice may be incomplete if changes have occurred since it was emailed to you. For the most current and accurate financial aid information, always visit your Financial Aid Award Summary in Wolverine Access.
