Yellowdig: Yellowdig Grade Isn't Syncing to Canvas

When a Yellowdig community has been set up to pass grades back to Canvas, students will receive an error message if that grade isn't syncing properly:

A message at the top of the Yellowdig Community that states "Yellowdig has not received information required to send your grade to a Learning Management System'.

 

To correct this, try the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the course in Canvas
  2. Click on the 'Assignments' menu in the left-hand course navigation menu
  3. Look for an Assignment that mentions Yellowdig in the title or Assignment instructions.  This may be an assignment from early in the semester.
  4. If the Assignment is set up properly, there should be a button that says 'Load [Assignment] in a new window.
  5. Click this button and sign in to Yellowdig if requested.

Launching Yellowdig from this assignment should resolve the error message.   If this is not the case, please contact Instructional Services using the information below.
