Table of Contents UM-Flint Faculty, Staff, and Students External Users Checkout Process Overview UM-Flint’s Canvas Catalog is an online course storefront, payment processing, and certificate generation platform that allows users to sign up for non-credit/non-degree course offerings. The storefront can be accessed at https://umflintpd.pdx.catalog.canvaslms.com/. UM-Flint Faculty, Staff, and Students Instructions Go to https://umflintpd.pdx.catalog.canvaslms.com/ and choose Login in the top right corner. When presented with the two login options, select the U-M Login option. Once the UM Login screen appears, enter your Uniqname and password. Use your DUO authentication to complete the login process. If you require assistance with your university login credentials or DUO set up, please refer to the help guides in the ITS Knowledge Base. You will then be redirected back to the Catalog page where you can proceed with adding courses to your cart and checkout. External User Instructions Once a user has filled the shopping cart with the module(s) of their choice, they will be presented with the following screen: New Users Returning Users New Users New users will need to create an account by completing the shown fields. Full Name Email Confirm Email Agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. Prove you are not a robot by putting a check mark in the reCAPTCHA box. Once those fields have been filled out, click on the Register New Account button. Within a few minutes, you should receive a welcome email. Open the email and click on the link asking you to set up your password. You will be redirected to a screen walking you through the password creation process. Returning Users Click on the Already have an account? button On the next page, select the external login option. Provide your email address and the password you created during your first registration in the designated fields. Checkout Process Once your account has been verified, you will return to the Catalog storefront and your shopping cart items. Click on the shopping cart icon to complete the purchasing process. Clicking on the icon will expand the shopping cart window. You may delete selections or continue the checkout process by clicking on the checkout button. The next screen will allow you to enter a promotion code if you have been provided with one by the department or unit offering the course. If a promotional code has not been provided to you, click on the pay and enroll button to be directed to the credit card portal. Once you have completed the form, click on the Pay Now button to complete your purchase. From here you may return to the catalog or go to your courses. If you have registered for a course that has not yet opened, please note it will not be available until the posted course dates.
