What is the Digital Asset Collaborative?

Intended Audience:

This article is for benefit of faculty, staff, and students who would like to use university approved photos, logos, and other digital media.

Requirements:

 In order to access and use the Digital Assets system, you will need to have a current affiliation with the university and know your university email and your current password.

What is the Digital Asset System?

The Digital Asset system centralizes the management of University-approved photos, logos, and other digital media. 

Using the Digital Asset System

Downloading Individual Images

  1. Navigate to the official website: https://digitalassets.umich.edu/portals/vjs5xrma/UniversityofMichigan-Flint
  2. Select one of the categories of images.
  3. Select the Download Icon on the image you'd like to download.
  4. Input your university email and select your intended use from the drop down.
    • NOTE: Some intended uses require additional information. These uses will have a text box appear for you to type more details.

Downloading Multiple Images

  1. Navigate to the official website: https://digitalassets.umich.edu/portals/vjs5xrma/UniversityofMichigan-Flint
  2. Select one of the categories of images.
  3. Click Select on each image you'd like to download.
  4. Click Download Selection in the top right corner.
  5. Input your university email and select your intended use from the drop down.
  • NOTE: You can also download an entire category at once by selecting Download All in the top right corner.
