Google Forms[back]
Google forms are ideal for capturing Contact Information, RSVPs, Party Invites, T-Shirt Sign-Ups, Event Registrations, and more. You can also create custom forms to tailor your needs. Google forms can be accessed by navigating to Google Forms. UM-Flint Students, Staff & Faculty members can log in and access this service using their uniqname and current password. Google Forms is covered by the University's Google Apps for Education agreement which provides a secure environment within which to maintain or share the university's sensitive unregulated data, as well as some - but not all - kinds of sensitive regulated data. Before utilizing this service, please carefully read through the Sensitive Data Guide for M+Google.
The events.umflint.edu page is a great way to advertise detailed information about an upcoming event. The features of this online form include guest registration, payment options, the ability to set limits on the number of registrations that may be accepted, and a host of other options to capture registration data. Qualtrics [back]
Qualtrics is a very powerful tool used for creating and distributing online surveys, data storage, and analysis. All UM-Flint useres are by default placed in the "UM General" user category. This user type has certain account limitations, including a maximum of only 10 active surveys allowed at a time, a maximum number of contact lists, etc. It is also the default setting for all users signing up to Qualtrics for the first time.
Unlimited Qualtrics access is available for all UM-Flint faculty and staff. To switch your account from UM-General to UM-Unlimited, please take the following steps:
- Log into Qualtics with your U-M credentials
- Select the profile icon in the upper right hand corner
- Select "Account Settings"
- Select the "Upgrade Account" tab
- Please call the ITS Helpdesk at (810)-762-3123 when prompted for an upgrade code
- Click the "Upgrade Account" button
Note: you will not receive a confirmation of the upgrade. The upgrade is performed on the back end of your account.
To access Qualtrics visit https://umich.qualtrics.com and sign in with your uniqname and current password.
