What is SIS Proxy Access?

SIS proxy accounts enable authorized users to access a student's educational records contained in the Student Information System (SIS) at the University of Michigan-Flint. The student administers authorizations to access the student's academic records.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), requires the University of Michigan-Flint to make available to parents and/or eligible students for their academic records. The SIS Proxy Access User Account is in place to enhance the university's compliance with those regulations.
