Intended Audience
This article is intended for faculty and staff who have active Salesforce licenses. If you or your department is interested in working with the CRM, please refer to the Obtaining CRM Access section below.
Logging into the CRM
To sign into the CRM, there is a link titled CRM (TargetX) under the Faculty and Staff tabs on the Service Links section of My UM-Flint. Alternatively, you can access the CRM directly using the following link: https://umflint.my.salesforce.com/.
On the sign in page, you will select the option to log in using UM-Flint Single Sign On (SSO) near the bottom of the page. From there, you will enter your university credentials and verify with Okta as you would for any other university resource.

External App Authentication
When connecting to an external application using your CRM account, you will follow a slightly different path to authenticate.
On the sign in page or after being prompted to connect your Salesforce account, you will select the option for Use Custom Domain.

You will then enter umflint as the Custom Domain with no dashes, spaces, etc. as shown in the image below to be directed to our university login page where you will provide your university credentials as with other UM-Flint resources.

Obtaining CRM Access
To obtain a Salesforce license, your supervisor can submit an access request to ITS. If approved, relevant training will be assigned and will be required to be completed prior to receiving your license.
