Campaign Tagging: International Giving

Question

What criteria does a gift have to have to be counted as part of International Giving?

Answer

International Giving is a Constituency based campaign tag within DART.  This type of tag is applied to gifts when the donor or an associated recognition donor, meet a specific criteria at the time of the gift, such as status as current student, current parent, or address.

The International Giving tag is applied to the entire gift at the Revenue LookupID level, not just at the Designation Split level.  If a Pledge or Planned Gift is tagged as International Giving, all payments associated with those gifts will automatically be as well.

To qualify to be tagged a gift must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Gifts of $500K or less where any donor receiving Recognition Credit has a valid address outside the U.S. at time of gift.
