This Report

This report can be used to help pull parent LIDs of current students by inputting the student education info into the query prompts for use in other reports.

Use this report along with the other set of MProfile helper reports in order to easily pull parent LookupIDs of University of Michigan students for use in the 10.0 Excel MProfile - Parents By LookupID with Student Info report in order to pull reports on parents.

Running the Report Directly

Click the highlighted icon to bring up the user prompts.

If the report is taking too long to run, schedule the report (see above).

Student’s School or College (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results depending on the school or college that the student attended

• Enter Student’s School or College

  • You may select one or more values

  • E.g., College of Engineering

Student’s DART Class of Year (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on a student’s graduation class year

• Enter Student’s DART Class of Year

  • You may select one or more values

Student’s DART Education Program(Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on the education program that the student completed

• Enter Student’s DART Education Program

  • You may select one or more values

  • E.g., Doctorate Level

Student’s Education Degree (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on the type of degree that the student obtained

• Enter Student’s Education Degree

  • You may select one or more values

  • E.g., B.B.A.

Student’s DART Department (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on the specialty that the student studied

• Enter Student’s DART Department (Major/Speciality)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on what level the department obtained was.

Report Tabs

  • This tab provides the set of parent LIDs returned from the query in sorted alphabetical order by the parent's Last Name. Along with the parent name and LID includes the parent's hierarchical relationship to student and student's full name and LID.
