This Report

This report can be used to pull the names and LookupIDs of parents of current U-M students using the parent's Geolocation

Why use this report?

Use this report along with the other set of MProfile helper reports in order to easily pull parent LookupIDs of University of Michigan students for use in the 10.0 Excel MProfile - Parents By LookupID with Student Info report in order to pull reports on parents.

Running the Report Directly

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on the student’s permanent address

• Enter Parent’s City

  • You may select one or more values

• Enter Parent’s State

  • You may select one or more values

• Enter Parent’s Zip

  • You may select one or more values

• Enter Parent’s Country

  • You may select one or more values

Parent’s Primary Metro Area (PMA) (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on which primary metro area their address is assigned to

• Enter Parent’s Primary Metro Area (PMA)

  • You may select one or more values

  • E.g., Baton Rouge, LA

Parent’s Greater Metro Area (GMA) (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on the greater metro area their address is assigned to

• Enter Parent’s Greater Metro Area (GMA)

  • You may select one or more values

  • E.g., Denver, CO

Parent’s Major Gift Region (MGR) (Optional)

Answer the following prompt to restrict results for parents depending on the major gift region their address is assigned to
