When is Giving Blueday 2026?

Giving Blueday 2026 is Wednesday, March 18th.

Warehouse Refresh Schedule

The Data Warehouse will be held both Tuesday and Wednesday night. The normal refresh schedule will resume Thursday night.

Impact

  • DART Data on Tuesday and Wednesday will not appear in reports/queries until Friday

Tagging and Loading Schedule

All GBD gifts eventually receive the “2026GivingBlue” campaign tag.

This tagging is accomplished within a month of GBD, and any reporting before final tagging will be incomplete and should be noted as preliminary.

Key Reports and Dashboards

Day-of tracking is not comprehensive, but preliminary numbers can be found through:

  • U-M’s GBD site where each fund has a separate page and includes donor and dollar amounts. Note: The donor count is a transaction count, not a count of unique donors

  • Michigan Giving Dashboard which tracks gifts given on GBD through the traditional Michigan Giving site.

Post-GBD reporting is best accomplished through the Giving Blueday Gifts report in Business Objects. This is a Production report looking for gifts with the “2026GivingBlue” campaign tag.

Units wishing to use the Gift Acknowledgement Report should note that the Revenue Added/Adjusted date will likely not be March 18th considering the delay in loading and tagging gifts.
