This Report

This report is designed to pull all active (living) alumni (including counts) by US state of primary address given school/college affiliation (SCU). Users have the option to restrict results based on class year, degree, degree program, and/or major/specialty. Alumni without a current, valid address are counted at their last known address.  This report will also show counts by county or zip code.

Why use this report?

Use this report if you need to access the statewide distribution of active alumni from a specified school/college (SCU), and need to finely tailor the results (by querying for campus, class year, degree program, degree, major/specialty, and/or ending/starting fiscal year).

Prompts

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)

Below are the available prompts (with explanation) —

  • Select School or College (Required)

    • Allows user to select a specific School or College to search for alumni based on Alumni Affiliation Attribute

    • E.g., School of Information
       

  • Enter Preferred Class Year (Optional)

    • Allows user to enter a 4-digit preferred class year

    • E.g., 2018, 2022
       

  • Select Degree (Optional)

    • Allows user to select one or more degrees

    • E.g., A.B., M.B.A, Ph.D, etc.

    • NOTE: This field is case and punctuation sensitive. User entries must match exactly as stored in DART
       

  • Select Degree Program (Optional)

    • Allows user to select a specific degree program

    • E.g., Bachelor’s Program, Master’s Program, etc.
       

  • Select Major/Specialty (Optional)

    • Allows user to select one or more Major or Specialty

    • E.g., Accounting, Orthopedic Surgery
       

  • Select PA Primary Metro Area (Optional)

    • Allows user to narrow search to PA Primary Metro Area(s)

    • E.g., Detroit-Ann Arbor, MI CMSA, Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN

    • Summary of counts of Alumni in specified school.college (SCU) by US State of primary address

    • Includes count of LookupIDs (LIDs) for each represented PA State

  • Alumni per State-Detail

    • Detailed list of alumni in specified SCU

    • Includes alumni LIDs, Full Names, Valid Address, PA Country, PA Country Code, PA State, PA City, PA Major Gift Region, and PA Primary Metro Area

  • Alumni per State-County

    • Summary of counts of Alumni in specified school.college (SCU) by US State-County of primary address

    • Includes count of LookupIDs (LIDs) for each represented PA State-County

  • Alumni per State-Zip

    • Summary of counts of Alumni in specified school.college (SCU) by US State-Zip of primary address

    • Includes count of LookupIDs (LIDs) for each represented PA State-Zip
