Constituent Report - Birthday Report by LID

​​​​​What does it do?

This report is designed to pull all living individuals that have a known birthdate given Constituent LookupIDs (LIDs). Users have the option to restrict results based on giving information by S/C/U Rollup, VP Area Rollup, Campus Rollup, Purpose Site Name, Designation LookupID, and/or by Communication Preference.

Why use this report?

Use this report if you need to identify constituents for birthday greetings

E.g. Find all donors to the School of Information from a list of LIDs whose birthdays are in June and who have a No Contact communication preference code.

Running the Report Directly

Click the highlighted icon to bring up the user prompts.

If the report is taking too long to run, schedule the report (see above).

Prompts

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)

Below are the available prompts (with explanation) —

  • Enter Constituent LookupID(s) (Required)

    • Allows users to enter one or more LIDs

Giving Information (Optional)

Answer one or more of the following prompts to be displayed. Giving will be totaled based on all prompts answers. Leave blank if not required.
 

  • Select S/C/U Rollup (Optional)

    • Allows users to select a specific School, College, or Unit (SCU) Rollup Name to display Lifetime Recognition Information

    • E.g., School of Information
       

      • OR Select VP Area Rollup (Optional)

        • Allows users to select a specific VP Rollup Name to display Lifetime Recognition Information

        • E.g., Office of the President, VP for Development
           

      • OR Select Campus Rollup (Optional)

        • Allows users to select a specific Campus Rollup Name to display Lifetime Recognition Information

        • E.g., Univ of Michigan-Ann-Arbor, Univ of Michigan-Dearborn
           

      • OR Select Purpose Site Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select a specific Purpose Site Name to display Lifetime Recognition Information

        • E.g., Administrative, Center for Academic Innovation
           

      • OR Enter Designation LookupID (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more Designation LookupIDs (aka Shortcodes) to display Lifetime Recognition Information
           

Specific Communication Codes (Optional)

  • Select SCU Specific Communication Preference Codes

    • Allows users to enter one or more SCU Specific Communication Preference Codes to display in report results

    • E.g., No Contact - School of Information; No Solicitation - School of Information

  • Birthday Report

    • Displays all donor information, including Birthdate, Age, Full Name, Address, Lifetime (MProfile-Style) Recognition Giving Information, and Contact Information. 

    • Users can select one or more birth months to be displayed from here
