Constituent Report - Faculty & Staff by Site and Site Giving

​​​​​What does it do?

This report is designed to pull a list of all living Faculty, Staff, and Development Officers that are also donors given specified Site Information (i.e. School/College/Unit (SCU), Campus Rollup, Site Search Code, or Site Name). Users have the option to restrict results based on Employment Type, Giving Information (i.e. MPathways DeptID, Designation LookupID, Campus Rollup Name, VP Rollup Name, SCU Rollup Name, or Site Name), and/or Fiscal Year.

Why use this report?

Use this report if you need to:

  1. Create a Mailing List of Active Faculty and Staff Donors

  2. Create a Mailing List of Former Faculty and Staff Donors

  3. View the Last Gift of Faculty and Staff Donors

E.g. Find all faculty and staff affiliated with the School of Information that are also donors to the school

Running the Report Directly

Click the highlighted icon to bring up the user prompts.

If the report is taking too long to run, schedule the report (see above).

Prompts

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)

Below are the available prompts (with explanation) —

  • Select Employment Type

    • Allows users to select one or more possible employment types for inclusion. 

    • User should de-select/remove any types not required

    • For Emeritus Faculty please contact IDS

    • E.g., U-M Faculty - Active, U-M Faculty - Former

Employment Site Information

Select only one level (i.e. Campus Rollup, VP Rollup, SCU Rollup). You can however select multiple units within each level. If you do not select an option here, the report will pull for the entire University (not recommended).

 

  • Select Campus Rollup Name (Optional)

    • Allows users to select one or more School/College/Units and pull for all related Sites

    • E.g., School of Information
       

      • OR VP Rollup Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more VP Rollups and pull for all related Sites

        • E.g., Office of the President, VP for Development
           

      • OR Select SCU Rollup Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more School/College/Units and pull for all related Sites

        • E.g., School of Information
           

      • OR Select Specific Site Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more specific site names

        • NOTE: does not include any rollup

        • E.g., G Ford School of Public Policy

Giving Information (At Least 1 Required)

You must select at least one level or NO DATA will be returned. You can select any combination of sites that your Employee base has given to. Selecting multiple sites will not limit your population (e.g. Employee A has given to Site A, or Site B, or Site C, etc).

  • Select MPathways DeptID (Optional)

    • Allows users to select one or more specific Department ID's that Employee Base has given to.
       

      • AND/OR Select Designation LookupID (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more specific Designation ID's or Funds that Employee Base has given to.
           

      • AND/OR Select Campus Rollup Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more Campus(es) that Employee Base has given to.

        • Select all three campuses to pull for the entire University

        • E.g., Univ of Michigan-Ann-Arbor, Univ of Michigan-Dearborn
           

      • AND/OR Select VP Rollup Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more VP Rollups that Employee Base has given to.

        • E.g., Office of the President, VP for Development
           

      • AND/OR Select SCU Rollup Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more SCUs that Employee Base has given to.

        • E.g., School of Information
           

      • AND/OR Select Specific Site Name (Optional)

        • Allows users to select one or more Constructed Site Rollup(s) that Employee Base has given to.

        • E.g., G Ford School of Public Policy

Fiscal Year Information

You may select a fiscal year, or set of years to filter the report.  Leaving blank will return all data (not recommended).

  • Enter FY(s) (Optional)

    • Allows users to enter a specific fiscal year or set of years for inclusion. Leaving blank will return all data

 

Report Tabs

There is 1 report tab:

  • Faculty Staff and Donors

    • Displays Faculty and Staff employment and lifetime (MProfile-style) recognition giving information

    • Includes Constituent LookupID (LID), Full Name, Degree, Affiliation, Business Address (i.e. Street Address, Primary Metro Area, and Greater Metro Area), Home Address (i.e. Street Address, Primary Metro Area, and Greater Metro Area), and Giving Information (i.e. Major Gift Regions, Total Recognition, Commitments, Expectancies, Payments, Gifts).
