What Does It Do?
The OUD-DS3 best practice is for email validation history to be stored in email attributes, with each new validation having a new email attribute.
This integrity check identifies when the last email validation is inconsistent with the most recent email attribute so that the email can be revalidated and a corresponding validation attribute is created.
How Is This Done?
This integrity check is run using a SQL Server view called [INTEGRITY_CHECKS].[dbo].[IDS.V-INTEGRITY CHECK-EMAIL-Update Email Validation Attributes(DW)], which is located in DB-OUD > Databases > INTEGRITY_CHECKS > Views.
That view queries all email addresses except Mich E-mail Address[es] where the last validation date is not the same as the most recent attribute start date. These email addresses are re-validated by DMT so that the most recent validation attribute can be end dated and a new validation attribute can be added to reflect the most recent validation status.
