Production Credit in Business Objects

For additional information on what production credit means, see the counting methodology definitions article.

Reporting on Production Credit

When reporting on lifetime recognition credit, a secondary query must be added. The filters will look for pledges, planned gifts, and all payments not associated with pledges or planned gifts (i.e., matching gifts, recurring gift payments, donations). It will remove all AAUM categories.

Figure 1. A screenshot of the Business Objects query for production credit.

The production credit value will be [Recognition Amount]. When merging with the base query, [Production Credit] = [Recognition Amount] In([zConstituent LookupID]) will be displayed for the output.

Filtering on Production Credit

When filtering on production credit totals, a subquery and [Sum of Recognition Amount] for a cumulative amount filter must be used. However, all other filters will be the same as noted in the Reporting section.

Figure 2. A screenshot of a Business Objects subquery filtering on production credit in FY2015 totaling $50,000 or more.

This subquery is part of the larger definition of the base population (e.g., active individuals, organizations, alumni of the Marsal Family School of Education). It may include additional filters on the credit in the filter, such as credit to a particular SCU, within a range of fiscal years, and so on. The example in Figure 2 is looking for donors with production credit in fiscal year 2015 of $50,000 or greater.
