What does it do?
MProfiles
MProfiles show the Lifetime Recognition Total and campaign totals for constituents meeting the user-supplied criteria.
This Report
This report is designed to pull a list of all alumni based on their Recognition Giving Total. Users can specify to evaluate based on giving to the University, SCU Rollup, VP Area Rollup, Campus Rollups, MPathways DeptID, Site Name, or Designation. Users can also specify a starting Fiscal Year for calculations. Leaving the starting FY prompt blank will result in lifetime giving totals.
Format
This version of the report is specifically designed to be used with the BusinessObjects Scheduler to run and save as an Excel file. More info below.

Why use this report?
Use this report to find alumni with a certain amount of recognition, and then view a holistic overview of their DART records.
For example, you can find donors from Washington, DC who are recognized for giving at least $250,000 to the university between 2020 and 2022.

Running the Report Directly
Click the highlighted icon to bring up the user prompts.
If the report is taking too long to run, schedule the report (see above).

You then need to set the prompts. (Prompts act as questions that help you to customize the information in a report to suit your own needs!)
Below are the available prompts (with explanation) —
Alumni Information
Leave prompts blank to search all UM alumni. Otherwise, answer one or more of the following to specify Alumni Affiliation.
For Unit Giving Information
Answer one or more of the following prompts to be displayed. Giving will be totaled based on all prompts answered. Leave blank if site giving is not required.

Enter "Yes" to return only Active Alumni

Allows user to limit to active alumni population or include deceased alumni

To include only active alumni, leave "Yes" as the prompt response

To include deceased, remove "Yes" and leave the prompt blank

Enter Minimum Recognition Amount (Required)

Enter Starting Fiscal Year

Allows user to limit Recognition Totals Since a specified Fiscal Year

NOTE: Starting Fiscal Year does NOT affect Victors For Michigan Totals

E.g., inputting “2015” will only display Recognition Totals from 2015 until today

Enter Ending Fiscal Year

Allows user to limit Recognition Totals to before a specified Fiscal Year

E.g., inputting 2022 will only display Recognition Totals before 2022

Select SCU Rollup
-
SCU = School, College, or Unit; all of the parts of the Development community that OUD provides support to; most divisions of UM have their own Development shop

Select MPathways DeptID

Allows user to select a MPathways DeptIDs

MPathways ID: a unique 6-digit number associated to every site/department; alternative names: Org. ID, MPathways ID, and Site ID

E.g. 320000, 170001

NOTE: If the person is really tenured and they provide you a four-digit Site ID, just add two zeros to the end (in DAC land they used to be four digits)
