Listed below are a few steps you can try to fix certain connection issues with the Omnissa Horizon Client:

  • Upgrade to the most recent version of the Omnissa Horizon Client. Instructions for downloading the best version can be found in this knowledge base article.
  • Make sure the connection protocol is set to Horizon Blast. While this should be the default setting it's recommended to verify it is set correctly. To do this, right-click the desktop option prior to connecting. Note: Choosing PCoIP may adversely affect the graphics performance, so avoid using that setting:

  • Try adjusting the default display size prior to connecting. To do this, right-click the desktop options prior to connecting, expand the Display menu, and choose a different size:
