If eligible, we recommend storing files in your /home/uniqname directory, or via the alternate path at /studenthome/uniqname, where uniqname is your U-M uniqname. These paths directly access your CAEN home directory.
If you are not eligible for a CAEN home directory, you may instead access your U-M cloud storage services, such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
Note: While /tmp is also available, it is a shared resource that is temporary to a specific computer, so data may be lost. In addition, filling /tmp with data from large jobs may lead to your job being terminated.
