All Michigan Engineering faculty and enrolled students may request a license of Siemens STAR-CCM+ computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools in support of their academic work for use on their personal computer.
To obtain an individual license, send an email to caen@umich.edu to request access to the University's Sold-To number and Web Access Code, which will be used on the Webkey Self Service page to create an account, and register for the license.
Once registered, information on available resources can be found on the Guidance for academia page, including the Siemens Support Center which provides access to installation files and documentation, a knowledge base, and product updates.
