CAEN has discovered an issue with versions of Matlab prior to 2025 in the CAEN Windows Remote Desktop service. The software fails to open when printer redirection is enabled in the VMware Horizon client.
To work around this issue, open the Horizon client, log in to caen.midesktop.it.umich.edu, and click the Settings button. Navigate to the Printers option, and set printer redirection to No Printer as shown below:
