Why must I enter my UMICH password each time I connect to the CAEN Linux Remote Login Service? Can I use Public Key authentication?

CAEN's Linux Remote Login Service uses U-M Kerberos for authentication, and does not support Public Key or RSA for authentication.

All remote users of CAEN services are required to enter their UMICH password, alongside the use of Okta multi-factor authentication (2FA).
