SPSS Access On Personal Computers

IBM SPSS Statistics can be accessed from any device with a stable Internet connection using UofM's Virtual Sites  Virtual Sites users must use DUO Two-Factor Authentication.  A minimum connection speed of 3-5 MBPS is recommended for the average user.   1. ***IMPORTANT FIRST STEP DO NOT SKIP*** 
    ALWAYS make sure you are checking to make sure your work is being saved to U-M Dropbox, U-M Google Drive, and OneDrive

    Please make sure to check with your instructor or supervisor on where to save work and save often. 
    
  2. Go to: https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html
  3. If prompt to log into Microsoft, please enter your umich.edu email address and password. 
  4. Authenticate with Duo
  5. You will be brought to a list of applications. You will need to select VS GPU Desktop.
    VS GPU Desktop icon should be in the third row, the second to the right.
  6. You will be prompted to authenticate with Duo again.
  7. Once logged into the Desktop, you can find IBM SPSS using the Start Menu. Click the Windows icon and type "SPSS"
    Click the Windows/Start button and type on your Keyboard IBM.  Click IBM SPSS Statistics to launch SPSS.
