Issue
- I no longer have access to the email listed for communications for the In-State Tuition Application.
- I changed my current address in Wolverine Access but the old email is still displaying on the In-State Tuition Application.
- How do I change the email listed on the In-State Tuition Application?
Resolution
- Once the In-State Tuition Application has been submitted, the email address cannot be changed on the application.
- If the Email Address listed is your U-M email AND you're still able to login to Wolverine Access with your uniqname, a temporary work-around is to set up mail forwarding through MCommunity. Please see the following article for instructions: Forwarding U-M Email to Another Address Using MCommunity
- This work-around is temporary if you currently have no active affiliation with U-M. The uniqname and account are deactivated after a grace period for former students (non-alumni) and employees (non-retirees).
- NOTE: If you are an active student, employee or sponsored affiliate, you should have access to a U-M email and setting up mail forwarding is not required. The U-M Gmail can be accessed with this link.
- If the Email Address listed is an external (non-U-M) email that you no longer have access to, update your Current Address in Wolverine Access using the link provided on the My In-State Tuition Application page, then contact the Residency Office about the next steps regarding the application.
- If you haven't submitted the In-State Tuition Application yet, follow the instructions on the application page:
-
"Communications regarding this In-State Tuition application will be sent to the UMICH email address shown below.
For New and Prospective Students who do not have a UMICH email address, your current email address is being displayed. If this is not desired, please change your current email address here in Wolverine Access before submitting this In-State Tuition application.
