Summary
This article explains what needs to be completed for a new employee in order for them to access payroll-related resources (direct deposit, tax forms, etc.) in Employee Self Service.

Issue
New hires may be unable to edit direct deposit information, view W-2 or access the W-4, paychecks page, or see timesheet information in Employee Self-Service. These may be blank or completely unavailable.
Resolution
- Confirm you have completed Employee Validation
- If Employee Validation was completed today - an overnight process will need to run to enable this access
- Confirm that you have reached your start date
- If it is a date in the future - functions will be enabled on that date
The ITS Service Center can check the status of employee validation or start date.
