Microsoft 365 Bookings Availability at U-M

Summary

This article provides information about the availability of Microsoft's Bookings feature in U-M Microsoft 365.

Body

Environment

U-M Microsoft 365

Issue

What is Microsoft Bookings, and is it available in the ITS-managed U-M Microsoft 365 instance?

Resolution

The ITS-managed U-M Microsoft 365 instance does not have Microsoft Exchange enabled (as non-Michigan Medicine units use Gmail for their email). As a result, Microsoft Bookings (https://bookings.cloud.microsoft/bookings) is unavailable because it relies on Microsoft Exchange.

You can instead use Google Calendar appointment schedules to schedule and manage appointments with others.
