Grackle, Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets
Issue
I clicked on "Export to PDF" on the Grackle interface. When the process concluded, I received a 403 error.
Resolution
Per Grackle:
- This is actually a Google error, not one from Grackle. This error typically happens when people are signed into a personal account alongside a work account.
- You can use different Chrome profiles, but when using Grackle Workspace, you should only be signed into umich.edu within that Chrome profile.
- If multiple Google accounts are signed in within the same profile, Google add-ons may not function properly.
- Each Chrome profile opens in its own window, and profiles keep login sessions separate. This is a Google authentication behavior.
If you currently have multiple accounts signed in, please sign out of the additional accounts and remove them from your umich.edu profile. Then relaunch the add-on and try exporting again.
