Google: Missing Email Replies and Forwards From Sent Folder

Issue

Emails that I've replied to or forwarded are not appearing in the Sent folder of my U-M Google Mail account. Why is this, and how do I fix it?

Resolution

When "Conversation view" is enabled in your U-M Google Mail settings and the original email that was replied to or forwarded has been deleted from your inbox, the email reply/forward will also be deleted from the Sent folder.

To prevent email replies or forwards from being deleted, you need to turn off Conversation view from your Gmail settings. Refer to Article ID: 10032 for instructions on turning it off.
